cifs not able to mount by hostname only by ip (solved)

Hi! I recently found when I mount by hostname using cifs, it cannot resolve the hostname, but only IP, like the following:

root:# mount -t cifs "//NAS/main" "/mnt/share/NAS"
mount error: could not resolve address for NAS: Unknown error

root:# mount -t cifs "//192.168.1.101/main" "/mnt/share/NAS"

Fuck Ebay!

I sold an item on Ebay two months ago, the buyer didn't liked it, and ebay authorized a refund without my permission. But there is a $7.20 charge on my credit card for the item sold fee. Now ebay ask money from me.

Two weeks ago, I decided to trust Ebay and decided to issue a reimbursement of $100 dollars in TOTAL. The ebay agent told me I could get my $7.20 back thru some kind of transaction procedure but NOT directly. I trusted him cause he promised me....

transmission rc.local

Attempted to start transmission at bootup, and added transmission-daemon to /etc/rc.local, but since there are no initiailization users and config files, (root has not logged in yet), the transmission-daemon does not load the configurations, and transmission does not start properly. I did a search and found this file:

smb mount cifs error
