Took a spare p3 and built a web server to use with the web browserized Insignia Infocast (aka the Chumby). I nicknamed it the Poor-man's Ipad. Found some code that allows for an on screen keyboard for pages that are accessed. Best part is there is no limitation on apps and do not have to pay an Apple app tax either. All the home automation apps via web pages I have written have worked like a charm. Of course, I had already pretty much tested them via desktop browsers. The Chumbys have gone back on sale again. Need to put a padlock on the wallet. Best Buy seem to have no problem with my review of it and the instructable I made to show people how to use the web browser without installing it.

Found a book about Android development with twenty percent off and with an additional ten percent off coupon was able to leave the store for under twenty five collars.
