Executive Summary:
I. To install
a) Add the line [inline]gem 'thin'[/inline] to your Gemfile
b) And setup the restart script.

II. To start (must use your real port number)

Code:

 $  bundle exec thin start -e production -p 1**** -d

III. To stop

Code:

 $  bundle exec thin stop

IV. To restart

Code:

 $  ~/./script/restart-thin.sh

Notes (aka, waste of keystrokes): I'd like to start out by saying that, as a windows user, I don't exactly feel all that good using linux in both GUI mode and over SSH.
