Well, since I've got over two thousand C# applications coded on my windows PC, let's see about putting them to use on my debian system.
Thanks to a project named mono, this is easy!

We may as well see a glimps of mono on a windows PC. This can be done by 'C:/'

:: WINDOWS PORTION (optional) ::

Download mono so you can compile .cs for the mono/.NET runtime:

Code:
g++ hellosource.c
and it will produce "a.out" in the directory from which it was run. a.out is...

After crying a little bit more, I decided to return to the Debian web site and try to find another iso that actually installed something I could use. (needless to say, their website is very difficult to navigate, and their distribution layout, confusing).

http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/6.0.1a/i386/iso-cd/

I happened to like one of them a lot(they sell food, but no further details shall be provided to protect their delicious identities). So I said to myself, "I'm going to figure out what Ruby on Rails is and then do that for money."

Upon further investigation,...
