XFCE4 plugins in /incoming

For any archers that use XFCE4, Ive uploaded all of the optional Panel Plugins to ftp.archlinux.org/incoming. I noticed they were missing from pacman.

Enjoy.

Hello contrasutra,

I was reading your review of nova, and was confused when you said "you cannot install software using the normal ./configure, make, make install". I am paraphrasing but you know what I'm talking about.

I was just wondering why you would say that. I use arch and I compile all sorts of things from scratch. I was just wondering why you said that, as it is misleading.

Sorry to take this off-topic but you know...

To get back on track I will mention that I uploaded a pacman package for quanta. It is in /incoming too...

cheers

Ive had lots of problems with programs not being able to find the different build tools.

Many tarballs work, but some do not without some tweaking, and that was just very different from what I was use to.

In Slackware, EVERYTHING would compile. Its not that big of a deal, as I like making packages, because it keeps all my dependancies in order.

Yes, I guess it is misleading, I should have said that "some" programs have issues. Then again, I only have Arch on one system, so it may just be me.

I think it's just you

Maybe as you said you were missing some build tools.

I have never had problems building from source.

Anyway, I was just wondering...thanks for the reply.
