Hello Everyone,
I've been using Ubuntu for a number of years, though I'm a bit tired of it and find that as my computer gets older I'm in need of a more nimble distribution in order to maintain speed and usability. I downloaded and installed ZenWalk 7 the other day and the process proceeded smoothly all the way to the login screen, where I am presented with a garbled and unreadable display.
I tried to follow ZenWalk's manual and went to the terminal to use the "videoconfig" and "xorgconfig" commands as suggested here <
http://manual.zenwalk.org/en/Video_Configuration.html> but to no avail (it says the "xorgconfig" command doesn't even exist).
I ran the 6.4 live cd without any problems at all... can anyone help me out with this? I have a Lenovo Z60m with a 915GM Express chipset with GMA900 integrated graphics.
Thanks a lot.
