Can't get a higher resolution.

While in the stage of configuring the Sax2, i think i misconfigured something, leading to a big problem.

Now the problem is that I can't get a higher resolution on my monitor.

The thing is, Yoper failed to detect my Monitor.
It is a LG Flaron E 700S

I tried to put in the drivers concerning this, by rebooting to YOPER, when it started giving me the error messages. (If this message repeats again and again, and you have to wait for 20 seconds thing.

Can anybody tell me how do I get my Video settings back?

Now, I managed to get a higher resolution, but i can't make my display fit the screen.

Previously too, with a lower resolution, i couldn't do that.

Sounds like you are using a virtual resolution.

I resolved this problem by editing the file:
/etc/X11/xorg.conf

make sure that all entries with that start with "Virtual" are commented out using the # symbol.

Make a backup of the original xorg.conf file to be safe. Once X is restarted by pressing "ctrl+alt+backspace" you should have a perfect display.

This worked for me on Yoper 2.1
