Ubuntu Firefox can not play CNN video, no plugin of Windows Media Player and Real Player.
So, how to solve this problem?

I think it uses flash. Do you have a flash plug-in installed?

Do other flash sites work for you? Youtube etc.?

Works fine for me, running Hardy and FF2.. I found FF3 kinda buggy, but not related to Flash..

I stopped using Ubuntu and I use Linux Mint now

Which video? The ones on this page use the flash player

Funny you give him a link to resolve problem, but my Ubuntu works great no problems as well as my Mint Linux and my Suse linux have no problem running video?


Then the directive request he send in a complaint about the video feed now all users on this site were able to watch the video and had no problems...

This is a bad copy of Ubuntu I had one and deleted it after being unable to access Administrative tasks...


I almost guarantee this is a bad copy of Ubuntu...

This not a plug-in issue...


Download a new copy of Ubuntu install and problem is gone.....
