Hello, I am running the latest stable version of Kubuntu and I have Mozilla Thunderbird installed. Lately, some strange things happened. When I opened Thunderbird today it started downloading all my emails to my inbox and sent box folders. After this, I saw 5 emails in my inbox from today, which I didn't open, and they were shown as read. What could be the reason for this?
You have provided very little information. Please read this and flesh out your post. You might also try starting Thunderbird from the command line; it might throw some helpful messages to the terminal.

In particular, is this email account POP or IMAP?
Hello, the email account is IMAP. I have no extensions installed. I ran
Code:
/usr/bin/thunderbird -safe-mode
and this is the result:
Code:

This is a long shot, but might you have read those emails on another device?
As for the errors in your previous post, I'm afraid I don't know enough to help with resolving them, or even to say whether they are related to the initial issue.
