Streaming video plugin help. (.wmv)

hello, when i try to watch some streaming videos from yahoo i get the following error.

There is no input plugin to handle the location of this movie.
How would i fix this?

your profile shows that you use ubuntu, what version?

check out a package called Easy Ubuntu.

google for it, makes installing codecs very easy.

Go here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats
follow all the steps and you will be able to play all formats, provided your system is capable.

Ok, thanks for the help, i hope it is all that is needed. -So far it appears to work.
