Screensaver Options Freezing Up In 9.10

Hey All,
I downloaded 9.10 like several of you have, only to find that when the 10min that the computer sits idle has froze. When I go to change and make sure that its not on a blank screen that also freezes up only to have to re-boot the system. Yes, I am talking about under the System-> preferences -> screensaver

Have any of you experienced that problem yet? And if so how did you go about getting it to work again?

I've seen this problem for several years on various distros whenever I allow the 'random' screensaver rotation to work. When I select a specific screensaver and stay with it , the lockups seem to go away. I know, no root cause, just anecdotal evidence.

Does your system freeze if you disable the screensaver and leave your computer sitting idle?

It was the same for me. So far, all I could do was disabling gnome-screensaver. It's no good but no more freezing now...
