I'm trying to find remote assistance programs in Ubuntu that will allow me to access a Windows XP computer with out kicking off the current user. Is there a program like this for Ubuntu? I'd also like to know if there is a program that can work with PC Anywhere.
yes install vnc (server) on the xp desktop and then you will be able to to connect using the GUI vnc viewer in the intenrent menu of hardy or if you run gutsy or something lower try this command:
vncviewer <network ip address>
