question about support for ubuntu versions

so I have an Ubuntu server here. IT is currently running 6.10. I installed 6.10 before I knew about all of this LTS stuff. So I have a couple of questions. Am I correct in thinking that the security updates for 6.10 will stop in June of next year? Also, so when that happens I am going to want to change my version, but my problem is will another LTS release be out by then? I want the next version I use to be a LTS release so, do you think another LTS release will be out by then?

6.10 will be supported for 18 months but right now ubuntu is already urging its users to adopt 7.04 instead. From what I have read, the next LTS release should be 7.10; it should be released by the end of this year.
