Problem with updates

I have 50+ updates waiting to be installed. I have tried several time but get the following error.

E: dash: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
It doesn't matter if I download these updates one at a time or as a group.
Anyone have any ideas.

Thanks
John

Look In Logs

Look in your logs, especially under dist-upgrade and see which dash script died. I would recommend posting this problem in Ubuntu Launchpad.

I'll be away for a week or so and will try that when I get back home.
