I have just left Mandriva 2007 and come over to Ubuntu on my laptop 64.
The wireless is much better than all the distros so far.
I thought Mandriva had the best wireless of the distro's and I used it on my laptop. The problem was I had to reconfigure on connecting the ethernet whether I had used wireless or not.
I am happy Ubuntu no longer needs the configuration in switching between ethernet and wireless.
One problem though is that it now asks for a wireless password when I boot as user. Anyway of fixing this so that I can avoid putting my password in twice as a user.
