Nautilus painfully slow when viewing as list.

When I run Nautilus and attempt to view files via the list view it is painfully slow when compared to the icon view. I have a one particular folder that has about 2000 mp3's in it and it takes up to 2-3 minutes to load with the list view but with icon view it takes about 5 seconds. Is there something I can do to speed things up in list view?

Unfortunately that didn't help.
