Hello
I'm trying to prepare a USB stick to install Linux/Ubuntu from and I follow this tutorial:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...n/FromUSBStick
And I have already made a bootable Ubuntu install USB stick.
But now I'd like to make another USB stick which has these 4 partitions on it:
# fdisk /dev/sdb
Command (m for help): p
Disk /dev/sdb: 15.9 GB, 15912140800 bytes
...
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 2048 4000000 1998976+ 83 Linux
/dev/sdb2 4000001 8000000 2000000 83 Linux
/dev/sdb3 8000001 12000000 2000000 83 Linux
/dev/sdb4 12000001 31078399 9539199+ 83 Linux
it's a 16GB USB stick and for Ubuntu install only about 4GB is enough Therefore I'd like to use only the one partition of about 4GB for the Ubuntu install and the remaining partitions must be preserved.
But the program called usb-creator-gtk doesn 't seem to make the Ubuntu install in only one partition but in all of the usb stick.
Is is possible to make the bootable Ubuntu install into only one partition of usb stick?
