Konqueror as super user?

How do I load Konqueror as a super user? I've only been able to find articles from '05 and earlier, from when KDE used to have an option under the menu. Now that there's no menu, I've tried using the shell to load Konqueror, but every time I do it says

Quote:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

konqueror: cannot connect to X server :0.0
I just got Vice (c64 emulator) installed and need to put the rom files in the appropriate places. I know I can use a shell to copy the files, but for future reference I'd like to know how to do it in Konqueror.

What do I do?

Konqueror requires the X server to be running. That's the Graphical user interface. How are you connecting to your system? SSH?

You can run konqueror as root with a few different ways.

1) you can create a new shortcut link and use the command kdesu konqueror
2) you can log in directly as root and just run konqueror
3) at the command prompt you can also type kdesu konqueror

This is all assuming you are using the KDE.
