Keyboard not working in server

I've been trying to set up an Ubuntu server, and for some reason the keys aren't working on my keyboard. I've posted a question in the hardware forum, at thisThread. But I thought I would put one here as well, just in case anyone knows if it's something with the Ubuntu server specifically.
