Installed WINE, but how to launch?

I have just installed WINE, and it all went fine, except I don't know how/where to execute it. Sorry for the lack of description, but I just don't know where it is.

Also to note, wine will not do anything on it's own. It is used in conjunction with a windows executable ala "wine sol.exe"
