If NetworkManager is a no show then how can I view it?

Hi, this is my second post and I guess it is related to my first one. My problem is this, sometimes NetworkManager doesn't show itself in Ubuntu 9.1.

How can I get it to appear so I can configure it?

Thanks in advance, Kwanseum

Look in your applications menu, or open a terminal and type
Code:
nm-applet
However, wicd is better, and more stable then networkmanager
