iwlist and NetworkManager show encryption wrong

I've got a wireless router with WEP key enabled. On my laptop I've got a Broadcom 43xx chip based PCMCIA card, using the latest (well from 2.6.15 kernel though patched with the latest updates) driver on Ubuntu Dapper.

I can connect manually or using a simple script. However, no luch with NetworkManager. I ran iwlist and noticed that it shows that encryption is off, though it is definitely on:
Code:
$ sudo iwlist eth1 scan
eth1      Scan completed :
          Cell 01 - Address: 00:02:6F:06:52:B3
                    ESSID:"conexant"
                    Protocol:IEEE 802.11b
                    Mode:Master
                    Channel:8
                    Encryption key:off
                    Bit Rates:11 Mb/s
                    Extra: Rates (Mb/s): 1 2 5.5 11
                    Quality=100/100  Signal level=-31 dBm
                    Extra: Last beacon: 55ms ago
NetworkManager also shows it as unsecure network. What is wrong?
