I installed linux-wlan-ng and it screwed everything up

I, trying to get my wi-fi card set up, installed the linux-wlan-ng modules, thinking that that was what they needed to run. I was wrong.

Now it has screwed up wifi access on that card and it doesn't get a device node when I insert it.

Before I installed the wlan-ng stuff, my wifi card got a device node of eth1 whenever I inserted it, and in cardinfo it had a different name.

In short, I want linux-wlan-ng off, but every attempt I've made has failed. Any suggestions?

Not quite, I did fix it in a thread in the wireless forum...

I had to manually remove the module, config file, and all teh scripts.

That's 'bout it
