how to remove bluetooth?

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop on amd64.

I am receiving the following error message during boot:

Code:
pulseaudio[1951]: GetManagedObjects() failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.TimedOut: Failed to activate service 'org.bluez': timed out (service_start_timeout=25000ms)
I wanted to disable bluetooth service to make the error disappear:

Code:
sudo "echo 'manual' > /etc/init/bluetooth.override"
but the error is still there and the service enabled.

Since my hardware does not have any bluetooth module I want to uninstall it:

Code:
apt remove --purge blueman
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package 'blueman' is not installed, so not removed
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  libllvm9
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove it.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
I disabled bluetooth with

Code:
sudo systemctl disable bluetooth.service
Synchronizing state of bluetooth.service with SysV service script with /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install.
Executing: /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install disable bluetooth
Removed /etc/systemd/system/dbus-org.bluez.service.
Removed /etc/systemd/system/bluetooth.target.wants/bluetooth.service.

The original error message talks about "bluez". Use that as a search query for installed packages and/or services.

Does your hardware have a switch to disable bluetooth? Tried that?

Worst case scenario, you could try blacklisting the bluetooth hardware driver.

Code:
apt list blue*
should show what packages you have in that range.

I was basically following whatever I could find on Google. Someone had the exact same error and could solve that with the steps I mentioned. My guessing now is that blueman depends on bluez and he wanted to remove blueman with all its dependencies.

This is a desktop PC, like I said here doesn't physically exist any kind of bluetooth hardware. Didn't search for it but I doubt there'd be a setting in the bios.

Solution:
Code:
apt remove bluez
this gets rid of the error message.

Code:
apt list blue*

I also uninstalled bluez-cups because it is a bluetooth printer driver.
