fglrx+xgl+compiz=no joy


i have managed to get fglrx 8.40.4 installed, and compiz installed, and xgl up and running on feisty. unfortunately when i try to run compiz-fusion it returns the following error:

compiz: Support for non power of two textures missing

how can i resolve this?? i am using:

msi k7n2 motherboard
visiontek radeon x1600 xt gamer edition video card
fglrx 8.40.4
ubuntu feisty

will gladly post any requested data.
thank you for your consideration in this matter.

I think envy is avalible for ubuntu, try installing that and it will setup the xgl server and configure your xorg and install fglrx for you.
