Cinelerra. Is there any version compiled for 9.04?

I can't find any package for cinelerra movie editor in the repositories. I have KUbuntu 9.04

Anybody knows where I could find it?

I actually found the .deb package, but it is declared valid only for Debian... Should I try it?

Ubuntu 9.04 is way past EOL; please upgrade.

Have you looked on the Cinelerra website? It is available for all currently-supported Kubuntu releases.
