broken package

i have the "eclipse-pydev-gcj" package broken... this package is waiting to be upgraded but every time y try to do it an error occurs and nothing happens. i tried to remove this package (don't use it) from synaptic but won't do it either. the mayor problem is that i cant install new packages because every time i try to do so, it first tries to upgrade the broken one, and then aborts... any ideas?

Do it in a terminal.
Quote:
sudo apt-get remove eclipse-pydev-gcj
