Since I see ppl being told to just install the latest versions of Ubuntu-based distros like Lubuntu instead of doin the upgrade (which doesn't wotk for me anyways lol), I was wondering what is the best way to save my configuration & my /var/www stuff for my webpages (Nextcloud and my Wordpress test sites being my main worries).

I'm not quite a newbie but I'm no linux expert yet. I'm currently still using Lubuntu 15.04 as I mentioned in the subject and I've done a lot of customizations I really don't want to lose.

I just posted, yesterday, the backup and restore scripts that I use to import my configuration to a new installation.
You can review the scripts for ideas on what and how to do that.
