another wireless card problem

lspci
"02:06.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)"

uname -r
"2.6.38-10-generic"

OK, so I'm running Xubuntu 11.04. I tried to use ndiswrapper but when I plug in the .inf file it says it's not a valid driver. My wireless worked without a problem on Ubuntu 9.10 but I had to activate it in the "additional drivers" section under "system" tab. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Is there an open source driver I can use? If so, what do I need to do to install it? And if ndiswrapper is my only option, does anyone know where I can get a good copy of the .inf file to try again to run the windows driver? thanks a lot for any help you can give. It's greatly appreciated.

The driver for that card should be already installed, what you need is the firmware for that device. You can either install it with the Additional Drivers-tool or via the command line with
Code:
sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
After that you should be able to connect with your network manager (I don't know if Xubuntu has one pre-installed, I use wicd on Slackware and it works well).
