I boycott all abusive proprietary software companies, and I am finally learning to program, because if we don't take matters in our own hands we'll always be at the mercy of merciless interests who have nothing but contempt for us. (Hey, then we're even, because I have greater contempt for them.)
They all seem to be censored, but we all know what the bleeping bleeps bleep out, don't we?
Welcome to media in the US. Having someone drop one of the Heavy Seven or showing a bit of boob is grounds for grabbing the torches and pitchforks. Horrific violence? Grab the popcorn and gather the family 'round the TV.
Jon Stewart is the man! Thank Bob Dobbs for Mr. Stewart.
And Bernie Goldberg is a moron. A comedian *IS* essentially a social commentator.
I find it pathetic that these clips are not available in the UK. So much for the internet 'not having borders.' Honestly, whats the point of having an internet if there are still borders preventing others from getting access to a wider variety of media?
You can always use a proxy. I've found that many US media is not available in Europe, and vice versa, and the UK seems to also be a separate continent, not accessible from either US or Europe. What can I say, they have to carefully control the spread of information, especially information they don't want you to know about.
I love the daily show^^
Seriously though, I can't believe Fox news (well cnn and msnbc too though...) can have such people as newscasters/reporters. The daily show can really be a lot more informative than an actual news channel><.
