I have a suse9.3 pro running for few months. Some people have priv access to that machine.
I found that, I am not able to run yast nowˇK..
When running yast, the system report thatˇK
ˇ§Error loading language plugin /usr/lib64/YaST2/plugin/libpy2lang_perl.so: libperl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryˇ¨
From the y2log file, I found the system keep generating the message.
ˇ§2005-11-18 09:09:22 <2> hkbws01(12009) [YCP] clients/menu.ycp:241 Event or widget ID not handled: $["EventSerialNo":28080538, "EventType":"CancelEvent", "ID":`cancel]ˇ¨
Can tell me what the problem is? Is it some file get conflicts? What is the proper step to fix this?
Never had YAST mess up so this is a bit of a guess. Is it possible to use the install disk(s) to do a repair ?
If that's not possible maybe you will have to reinstall YAST as advised in the previous post. I just wonder if some configurations would be lost ?
