It's a red hat rpm file. Fooled around with shoutcast a little last night and it seems if you can get this to work, it might do the trick.
hmmm interesting. When I install it it says, libpng.so.2 package needed. Where do I get that? I already have the libpng package though. When I click on ignore...nothing happens
I would suggest reading up on this before installing. I'm not too familiar with the .rpm format and don't know what (if any) problems could arise from using another distro's packages. And remember............

I'll give it a shot. I tried to install the new version of wine, it needs hell load of packages. Unfortunately 50% of packages were not provided by SuSe 9.2 (Source rpmseek.com) Suse 9.2 doesn't accept XFree86 license and isn't going to do anything in this direction anymore.
On the other hand Fedora had tons of packages there. Fedora is the last Ditribution I haven't tried out yet. Maybe I should give it a shot.
Just messing with you. If you're running firefox, the Google/ Linux, Freshmeat/Projects, Linux /Questions search plugins are a huge help.
Also, there are some distro-specific ones that might be helpful. I played with Wine for a while, but my impression was basically along the lines of " I own a Ferrari, but if I disconnect half the plug wires and slash the tires it performs like a Yugo!!!"
Why in the heck would I want that?

LOL, yeah...I see your point. it is just because of Yahoo Messenger with the built in customized Radio Lauchcast. It is fantastic and addictive. I love it to have randon rock music while programming or working on computer. The linux version of Yahoo messenger comes without the Radio feature. Thats why I try wine to make it work. (The chances are very low though)
Thanks for the tips above btw.
You know whats the most fun about Linux is? Having a distro working for 2 days, delete it and install anouther distro for another 2 days. Thats what I am doing since two weeks. hehe There are so many out there. AND the truth must be out there somewhere...
Do you know how I could kill Grub before I delete my Suse partitions?
If you're wanting to try different distros, you might look into the "live" versions. Just about every distro has them, letting you use the distro without actually installing it. Wish the'yd been available when I was "distro hopping" a few years back
As far as removing grub, don't know, (I use LILO) but if it's on your MBR, you'll have to rewrite it to get rid of it. AFAIK. Here's a tip I learned a while back:
Keep a system formatted (bootable) DOS floppy with format, fdisk, loadlin, fips and a few others of your choosing around. That disk has saved my butt many times when one of my brilliant "what if I...?" ideas went south (often)
you don't need to delete grub.a new distro install will overwrite it if you install the boot loader during installation.
if you really want to delete grub, boot from the windows disk and enter recovery mode.then just enter "fixmbr" .
