What does "evaluation distro" mean for SLED ?

I'm downloading SLED from SUSE, they gave a code which is valid for 60 days, does that mean the OS will stop working 60 days from now ? What is an evaluation version ?

It means that after 60 days you will not get updates. You "evaluate" it for 60 days.
