unable to mount second DVD drive

I have 2 DVD drives one is a DVD writer /dev/hdc the other a DVD ROM drive /dev/hdd

I've just noticed that I can not mount the DVDROM drive I know the drive works as I installed both Suse and Ubuntu from it and it quiet happily boots from either DVD's still

I've had a quick look at the forums and have added 2 lines to /etc/fstab

Code:
/dev/sda2 / reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/sda3 /home reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 2
#/dev/sdb1 /export
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hda5 /windows/D ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdb1 /windows/G ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdb5 /windows/I ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/sda1 swap swap defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user,sync 0 0
/dev/hdc /media/dvdrw auto noauto,fs=cdfss,r,users,gid=users,umask=0,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
/dev/hdd /media/dvd auto noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,users,gid=users,umask=0,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
when I try
mount /dev/hdd /media/dvd
the terminal just hangs

I have the same problem with this in Ubuntu as well

any help would be gratefully appreciated

Try changing the fstab entry from /dev/hdd to /dev/dvd

Thanks Bugrem,

That's allowed me to mount both of my Dvd drives, but Konqueror doesn't see anything in the directories even tho I can ls said directories.

Also neither DVD drive or the floppy auto mount now as well.

A very confused
