I don't use it every day so I don't see enough reasons to buy new hdd for such old PC.

I'm aware of nearing end of life of 32 bit and I can use it until end.

You also need to take into account the fact that there is a hard limit that 32bi and that is 4gb. So again its recommended that for modern machines that can support amount of ram over 4GB that you use a variant of your distributive there of choice that is a 64Bit aimes flavor, besides aren't most d distributions out there dropping support for 32Bit. They are in fact ads that linage of machine is getting rather long in the tooth however, I can understand their those whom can't afford to upgrade their hardware to the new machine.

Another edge case it legacy embedded hardware like the control systems for certain cases in which you might need to be assured of assured 99.9% uptime on a mission critical CNC machine for example. Also a lot of local traffic authorities use SBCs to manage trafic light pattern and threes probably a darn good bet that some of the SBcs in those shiny aluminum boxes that you see on the corner house remotely managed SBCs.

I know it but there is enough available RAM for tasks I use this PC for.
