Unhappy SuSE sound bug workaround?

When I first installed SuSE 10.0, it found my internal soundcard as Pavillion ze440 builtin audio, ALi 5451 module. I:

1.) Could not find any other way than delete and reinstall it in the buggy YaST sound configurator to set this soundcard as Nr.1 and install my USB SoundBlaster MP3+ as 0.
2.) Sound did not worked anymore, I found some workarounds (deleted sound config file to let YaST use sound.YaST2, edited this file (bad module names - instead of _) and get USB SB to work.
3.) Supposed, that when external unplugged, internal will work, but internal does not work anymore even if installed as primary (device 0) nor the only. Alsaconf plays that organ sound when installing and configuring this soundcard, but sound test in the KDE control center does not work, KMixer does not detect this sndcard.
4.) Want to enjoy quality on SoundBlaster at home, but I need to have any sound from the internal when travelling.

Could someone help me, please? Ask for some further questions, if you want. Also if anyone knows how to make others non-working devices in mysignature to work, please, feel free to help ;-)
Thanks in advance.

To delete soundcards in SuSE-10.0, go to /etc/modprobe.d/sound.* and rename it to something else.
