SuSE 9.2 Gnome-KDE


When i boot 9.2, it automaticly opens X. and asks my root and passwd.
I want to install new nvidia drivers so X can't be stay open. But i can't close it either. What do i need to do if i don't wanna start X in the opening ?
and i really don't want..

Press Ctrl-F1 to switch to a non X session and login as root. To close X type 'init 3' and hit return.

I think if you want to boot straight to this - you can enter '3' in the command line box in the grub menu.
