"Shutdown" missing from the 'Slab'/K menu

I've done my searching but google has offered no answers.

I'm missing the "Shutdown" entry on the slab (and its missing from the K Menu also). 'Logout', 'Lock' and 'Switch User' all exist but the rest of the options are missing. I figure that it's a permission issue somehow because root has those options.

This has to be a stupidly easy fix but I can't find it.

Anyone see this before?

Well my 10.2 doesn't have a "Shutdown" button either, but if I click on "Logout" in the KMenu it opens a menu with a "Turn Off Computer" button that performs a shutdown. Three clicks instead of two isn't much worse. Two clicks if you add the "Logout" button to your task bar. Or perhaps I misunderstood your question.

Try Suse menu/configure desktop/kde components/session manager/offer shutdown options.

Thank you auxsvr. That was what was missing. All those wonderful options available now.

ionmich, I got the menu that you get normally when I logged out and then used the options at the login screen. Odd.
