Lost "Shutdown" and "Restart" From system menu in FC6

I installed FC6 and was installing ndiswrapper for my WiFi card which worked (after long tries )...
After that I was trying to learn the ins and outs of FC6 by looking at the system configuration and so on, when I finished for the day and wanted to turn the computer off, I noticed that I no longer have "Shutdown" and "Restart" available in the "SYSTEM" menu. Only "Sleep" was available!!!
How can i restore the "shutdown" and "Restart" functions to my system menu?
BTW, my gdm is on, and using KDE.

If you are running GDM, then you will only have the shutdown and reboot options in GNOME and not KDE. If you want the shutdown and reboot options in KDE, then you will have to use KKDM as your login manager.

In any case, you should have a setting (under "System" or "Administration") for user permissions to run shutdown or reboot. In a multi-user system these commands are normally restricted to "root only."
