opensuse net installation


Hi .
I have a little problem with opensuse net installation .
Thay said here : en.opensuse.org/Released_Version
1 - Download the boot CD image from the table below
2 - Burn the boot CD image
3 - Boot your computer from the boot CD

I did that and :
4 - Point the YaST installer to the installation repository (by pressing F3 and then F4)
Here is my problem and i am lost .
i got 6 Choices : cd-rom ( i dont have the cds so .. ), slp ( i don't know what is that mean ) , ftp , http , nfs , smb/cifs

I think i have to Chose ftp or http wright ?
If i did that i got a window to put the server and directory , use and password

I am completlly lost . Can you please help me ?

You pick either FTP or HTTP.. and find a link repository.

There should be some on the site of suse.

This one should work!

http://download.opensuse.org/distrib...1/inst-source/

If don't .. just go to the website of suse and look through the mirror list! For the link i specified you choose HTTP. @ server you fill in : download.opensuse.org

And @ directory you fill in: /distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/

Should work like a charm.

Thanks man ..
Ater i inserted the server and directory i got more opthins to pik from , i pressd start installation then start inatallation or update start install i chosed netwoork and http then the ip and proxy but after that message uppeard that http not found ..
What is that mean ? That my network card didn't recognized or the site is down ?
