I run SuSe Enterprise 9.x /w Apache on a home cable network through a Gateway Linksys (WRT54GS). I hard wire though, others in the house are wireless. Here is a good site for router configurations http://www.dslwebserver.com/

I'm not sure of the model but if you look in the linux HCL right on this site you can see that there is one that has worked pretty well. I would check that out to see if it matches your model.
