Leap 15.2, doesn't accept Bluetooth speaker as default speaker

I have a AMD FX 8-way processor with a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, and a Bluetooth speaker. My system ran fine on Leap 14.x. Last week I upgraded to Leap 15.2, and am now having problems. The biggest problem is that the Bluetooth speaker won't auto connect, as the default speaker, to the upgraded system.

I verified that I had Bluetooth support installed, and I can connect to the speaker from the Bluetooth icon in the toolbar, but it doesn't show up as an option Settings -> SystemSettings -> Audio.

I have found a partial workaround. If I open a console window, and enter the command: "systemctl stop bluetooth", the system will connect to the speaker and use it for a while. BUT, if I walk away, for a few minutes, and the system goes to sleep, it disconnects. I don't understand why I have to disconnect to connect, and why it doesn't reconnect when I wake the system back up.

I need the speaker to connect, and stay connected, as long as the system is powered on. It worked in Leap 14.3, I need it to work in 15.2.

Restart your system and try pavucontrol (maybe install it first) after reboot as User.
Do you see them in the Configuration Tab?

pavucontrol is installed. With the Bluetooth speaker powered on, I rebooted the system. When the system came up, Bluetooth was enabled, but it did not automatically connect to the speaker, nor does the Bluetooth speaker show up in pavucontrol.

Next, I opened the Bluetooth tool, and connected to the speaker. I got the system beep confirming that the connection was made. I then went back to pavucontrol, but the Bluetooth speaker was still not listed.

It is only when I su to root and issue the command "systemctl stop bluetooth" that the system will actually connect to the speaker, and then it will appear in pavucontrol.
