Is it possible to script changes of hostname/ip on Suse 9.2 ES?

Hi there,

I was wondering if the following would be possible in a training environment?

You build a master image with Suse 9.2 ES and Oracle 10 for example. You image this using Ghost or another similar technology.

When it's time for a training session you drop this image onto 2 - 16 machines. Once they're rebooted you run a script to set a new static ip-address and change the hostname. The script takes its input from the command line so if you run it with for example: changesetup.sh 4 it knows that it should set the ip to 192.168.1.4 and change the hostname to server4.

Is this possible to accomplish?

Cheers, Mike
