intelli mouse side buttons

I have a USB intelli mouse with side buttons that do nothing in mozilla firefox. Is ther a way to configure firefox to go backwards/forwards when the buttons are clicked?

I am using suse 9.2 with kde.

It's for a logitech mouse, but it sounds like it's very nearly the same; it can't hurt to give it a shot.
