Yes ethernet is the better option, if your modem is already registered for use with isp it should only be a case of connecting it (reboot computer if you´re already logged in, I also assume you have a network card installed and configured as eth0).
I tried the ethernet and set it as eth0, but it didn't work yet. Could some one tell me the details of how to configure the ethernet for cable modem? Thanks a lot.
