i understand that xine does not come with the necessary tools to play dvds on suse. i've heard that i need to install lib.dvd.css, but i'm not sure that that is all. i tried that earlier and it didn't work. anyone else had to fix this problem?
I elected to run with MPlayer. Plays .mpegs, .asf, .wmv files, plus my DVDs. Whatever you decide on make sure you get the W32 codecs. Somewhere on this forum you can find the details.
