Dual layer ISO file

I was trying to burn a dual layer dvd to a iso image using K3b. But it just ends up burning around 4Gb and the program shuts it self down.

Any advice!!!!

Cheers
Michael

Is your DVD-RW capable of writing dual layer? Unless it is, there is no way a single layer writer will be able to create a dual layer disk. Out of curiosity what make/model DVD-RW are you using? -- J.W.

Yes I have got a NEC 3520A capable of burning dual layer discs. I finally did manage to burn a dual layer disc through WINDOWS it created 2 ISO files and one MDS file. While burning I just selected on the MDS file and was successful in burning the whole 8GB.

Is there anyone who could help me out with K3b?????
