can't boot amd64 suse 10.3


System amd 64 x2 4Gbyte nvidia software raid 10 nforce4

Suse 10.2 installed without problems. No issues with raid.

Suse 10.3 boot loader can't be found. When doing the installation, this error message is generated:

When attempting to boot, this message is generated:

I tried both grub and lilo.

Not sure if it's any help, but I have the same hardware with the exception of RAID 1. My menu.lst looks like this::

As you can see, the only difference appears to be the root device path, part9 instead of part7.
