Audio slow to start

I bought a new emachines AMD computer. It has NVIDIA 7.1 on board audio, and an ICEnemble ICE1724 Sound board 5.1. The audio won't start after reboots or shutdown. The station I'm trying to get is KPTK www.am1090seattle.com. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Still having the same problems. What's happening is Suse won't reconfigure the sound card AND alsa after a reboot or shutdown. I have to reconfigure the sound card in yast and run alsaconf every time.
