ati radeon x1300 not supported Suse 10

Hi,

Got a new Dell xps 210 with an ati radeon x1300 graphics card. It uses this for vista. When I try to install Suse 10.2 I cant move the cursor in the boot menu. Tried holding down shift when rebooting and this gave me a text install.
When the install is complete it doesnt run kde or gnome. It looks like the graphic card is unsupported. So all I get is the konsole.
Can anyone tell me how to download an install a driver for the graphic card.

For what it is worth, I did get SuSE 10.2 to work using a desktop AGP version of the ATI X1300 using the default SuSE Video Driver, but I could never get the ATI accelerated driver to work which resulted in no video most of the time. Finally I just got another video card using an nVidia chipset, but a laptop keeps you from doing that. I hope you find a solution for your laptop computer.

Looks like Suse found the bug in 10.3. They announced it on their mailing list. The Radeon driver is broken and crashes the X server. Heres the link:
